Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clean Nation's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Clean Nation is a platform that connects clients seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals. We do not employ cleaners directly; we facilitate connections between clients and independent service providers.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

When you book a cleaning through Clean Nation, you agree to pay a $20 booking fee. This fee is separate from the cleaning service cost, which you pay directly to the cleaner.

Minimum notice. Bookings must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance so your cleaner can plan the visit. In areas where we do not yet have an active cleaner, bookings require at least 48 hours' notice while we match one — you are not charged until a cleaner is confirmed.

The booking fee is refunded in full when:

• You cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled service;
• We cannot match you with a cleaner;
• Your assigned cleaner cancels or does not show up.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are not eligible for a booking fee refund, except where the failure is ours or the cleaner's as described above.

5. Independent Contractors

Cleaning professionals on our platform are independent businesses, not employees of Clean Nation. We verify their liability insurance, but we do not control how they perform their services.

6. Reviews

Reviews on Clean Nation come only from completed bookings — they cannot be submitted any other way. Clients may edit or delete their own reviews at any time; the cleaner's overall rating is recalculated accordingly. Cleaners may publish one public response to each review and may edit that response, but cannot alter or remove the review itself. We moderate reviews only for dishonesty or abuse (for example, fabricated claims, harassment, or personal contact information) — never because of the star rating given.

7. Limitation of Liability

Clean Nation is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during or as a result of cleaning services. All cleaners are required to carry their own liability insurance.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between clients and cleaners should first be addressed directly between the parties. Clean Nation may assist in mediation but is not responsible for resolving disputes.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate: your sign-in and profile are removed and personal details on past bookings are anonymized. Easy to join, easy to leave.
